About this Event
You are invited to the free, virtual education event, High Five to HIPEC: Finding Hope and Health with Peritoneal Cancer, hosted by Fred Hutch Cancer Center in partnership with the Appendix Cancer Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (ACPMP) Research Foundation and Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP) Pals.
This event is for patients and survivors of peritoneal cancers and their caregivers. During this event, providers will present information on the role of hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) in treating peritoneal cancers, with this year’s focus on appendix and colorectal cancers and life after HIPEC. Providers will also discuss treatment and research updates and the best supportive care options for people affected by these cancers.
This event is open to Fred Hutch and/or UW Medicine as well as external patients and their caregivers.
