2025 Henry and Catherine Evans Community Service Award Dinner
The Buhl Club is proud to honor Joseph and Kristine Altenor, the dynamic husband-and-wife team behind Haitian Sensation for their remarkable dedication to serving the community and enriching the lives of residents throughout the Shenango Valley.
Joseph and Kristine have done far more than serve authentic Haitian food—they have served hope, unity, and compassion to everyone who walks through their doors. Together, they have created a safe, welcoming space where culture, kindness, and community meet.
They are widely known for their outreach initiatives, including mentoring youth, supporting local ministries, and providing meals and comfort to families in need. Their shared faith, generosity, and unwavering belief in the power of community have inspired a movement of service throughout our valley.
A formal recognition ceremony will be held from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Thursday, September 11th at the Corinthian Banquet Hall and Event Center, where community leaders, residents, and friends will come together to celebrate the Joseph and Kristine’s impact within our community.
