
About this Event
The brainchild of Indiana Football Digest publisher, Paul Condry, The first Griddys Awards banquet was held for the first time in 2007 at the Indianapolis Colts practice facility and pavilion. The event is designed to be a celebration of Indiana high school football and is considered to be like the Oscars and ESPY awards for football in Indiana. Over 400 guests gather together every year to recognize the best players, coaches, and media representatives in Indiana high school football. The award recipients are chosen by a panel of media and coaches who review over 18,000 varsity players. Indiana high school football is growing into a passion for the players and their families as well as the communities and schools across the state. The Griddy’s Awards carries on the tradition of recognizing the importance of Indiana high school football.
