The deadline to register to be included in the Goldsboro Christmas Parade is
NOVEMBER 21, 2025.
Entries received between NOVEMBER 22 AND NOVEMBER 28 will incur a $25 late fee.
After NOVEMBER 28, entries will no longer be accepted. No exceptions.
If you are paying by check or cash, payment must be received by November 29 or your registration will not be valid, and you will not receive a lineup number.

Entry fees are non-refundable. A $25 service charge will be added to all returned checks.
Parade Terms & Conditions:
Santa Claus is reserved for the Chamber. NO SANTAS will be allowed on any parade entry.
All vehicles; including trailers, floats, and walking groups/horse groups; may not exceed 40’ in length. If your entire group needs to exceed 40’ in length, an additional vehicle space must be purchased. Slots will be designated based on length and will not allow for additional vehicles/trailers/floats/etc. to fit.
Per instruction from the Goldsboro Police Department, NO CANDY or other items may be thrown or handed out from any parade participant. Any participant seen throwing or passing out items will be promptly removed from the parade by the Goldsboro Police Department. Failure to comply with this rule will result in forfeiture of future Goldsboro Christmas Parade entries.
Per instruction from the Goldsboro Police Department, parade entrants may not stop to perform at any point during the parade. Goldsboro Police Department will ask you to exit the parade route if you do not comply with this rule. Failure to comply with this rule will result in forfeiture of future Goldsboro Christmas Parade entries.
According to NC law, riders of motorized vehicles (motorcycles or ATV’s) must wear helmets at all times, even during the parade.
The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, the City of Goldsboro, or the Goldsboro Police Department are not responsible for any damage to vehicles or floats and are not responsible for any accidents or incidents occurring before, during, or after the Goldsboro Christmas Parade.
PREPARATION INFORMATION
Music played from parade entrants must be family-friendly and contain NO profanity.
The Chamber does not contract with any company to provide professionally made floats; nor do we provide contact information for this service.
PARADE LINE UP INFORMATION
Once a vehicle arrives for parade line-up, a representative of the group must remain with the vehicle at all times in case the vehicle may need to be moved or repositioned.
For safety reasons and noise control, motorcycles, ATVs, golf carts, horses, etc. must report to their assigned parade position, turn off the motor to the vehicle and stay in that position during the parade line-up. No riding around or practicing in the parade line-up area or route will be allowed prior to parade commencing. Also, showboating or displaying of any dangerous activity will NOT be permitted before, during, or after the parade. No revving the engines.
Riders of floats/vehicles must be within the confines of the float/vehicle and thus not sit on the sides, back, or front so that body parts hang over the sides.
Only vehicles in the parade will be allowed in the line-up/staging area.
