Hello from the 2025 Osler Give a Night team!
Give a Night is a Toronto-based initiative led by a group of young professionals dedicated to making a difference. The campaign started 18 years ago as a social event designed to complement the legal community’s Give a Day campaign, which supports the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa.
Give a Day was founded by Dr. Jane Philpott, who spent nine years working in Africa and witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of AIDS. Her vision was to encourage Canadians to recognize World AIDS Day on December 1st by donating one day’s pay to organizations like the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
Give a Night continues this legacy by providing young professionals with an enjoyable way to contribute to the cause while connecting with friends in a relaxed, social setting.
We can’t wait to see you on May 8th at Lavelle! Your ticket includes a drink ticket, canapés, access to a photo booth, dancing, and more.
If you are planning to purchase a large number of tickets, please reach out — we’d be happy to coordinate an e-transfer to help you avoid Eventbrite fees. Please note that tickets are non-refundable, but you are welcome to transfer them if you’re unable to attend.
