Fort Wayne Metro USBC presents the 2nd Annual "YouthFest" Tournament at MVP Lanes in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Sunday, March 9th at 11:00 A.M. This is a 9-pin "No Tap" Doubles Tournament open to any SANCTIONED USBC YOUTH BOWLER.***2025 YOUTHFEST TOURNAMENT - RULES***
1. This is a Doubles Tournament open to ANY combination of SANCTIONED YOUTH BOWLERS.
2. The tournament will consist of (3) games of 9-pin “NO TAP” (NO TAP = ALL 9-pin counts on the first ball scored as a strike - all other leaves scored as usual) doubles competition.
3. All bowlers must present proof of USBC membership if not a member of Fort Wayne Metro USBC Associaiton (USBC I.D. Number denoted on entry form).
4. Entrants will use their highest USBC sanctioned league average based on a minimum of 9 games of 2023-24 season. If there is no average from last year, entrant will use their highest current average as of Wednesday, March 5th, 2025 with a MINIMUM OF 9 GAMES in competition.
5. Handicap will be based on 90% of the difference between the combined averages and 400. 400 & ABOVE WILL BE CONSIDERED SCRATCH.
6. Bowlers are responsible for verifying their own average, whether submitted by the bowler or others. If the submitted average is lower than required and results in a lower
classification or more handicap, the bowler’s scores can be disqualified. If the submitted average is higher than required, prize winnings will be based on the submitted average.
7. All prize money will be returned 100% in prize list. Prizes / Scholarships shall be awarded based on a “1 in 5” ratio. All monies will be awarded to the SMART Fund in the bowlers name.
8. Entry fess must accompany entry upon submission.
9. USBC rules will apply.
10. Violation of tournament rules will carry the penalty of disqualification of the bowler with no refund.
