The Forest Landowner Conference hosted by Roanoke Cooperative's Sustainable Forestry & Land Retention Project aims to:

• enhance landowners' understanding of estate planning strategies
• connect them with programs and technical assistance from state forestry agencies, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the local timber industry, and conservation organizations; and
• foster opportunities for networking among landowners

Conference notes:

• Hotel accommodations for landowner attendees who reside more than 60 miles from Rocky Mount are available through SFLRP; double occupancy may be required.

• No outside food or drinks are allowed in the Rocky Mount Event Center.
