Our 2025 fly-tying & tackle rigging event will be hosted by Jeff Kingsfield and other members to show how to tie your own full-length salmon flies, slider flies, and coho flies. We'll also be hosting Rich Matthews, owner of Musselhead Meat Rigs to teach how to property rig and dress your meat for effective presentations. Additionally, Lonnie Stinewal is returning to show you how to build your own 'Lonnie-tubes' and discuss technique for using them. The event is free to attend and we encourage you join the club as a member while at the event! We recommend you bring a vice and setup of your own (or pick one up prior to the event) so that you can get accustomed to your own gear at the tying event!
Salmon Unlimited - Wisconsin's general membership meetings are hosted on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the 5th Street Yacht Club in Racine. Each meeting provides an update on club operations, Salmon-A-Rama planning, and 1-2 special guest speakers (topic varies by month).
We welcome non-members to join us for a meeting to get a feel for what our organization does for the fisheries & its users, public outreach and goodwill, as well as the opportunity to network and learn! Please consider joining us at an upcoming meeting!
