About this Event
The Fit and Fabulous Health and Wellness Expo is the premier health initiative in Dallas – Fort Worth and the surrounding area. In addition to an exhibit hall showcasing vendors from the health, wellness, beauty, and fitness industries, the event features seminars on timely subjects affecting the health of our community.
The Expo is held annually through the Women of Pearls Community Action Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Tau Rho Omega Chapter and Dallas College School of Creative Arts Entertainment & Design. Women of Pearls Community Action Foundation, founded in 2017, mission is to support programs and initiatives that enhance economic and educational week-being, and address health disparities and social inequality. Tau Rho Omega Chapter was founded in January of 1993. Our service area includes the cities of Carrollton, Lewisville, Coppell, Flower Mound and Irving, Texas.
The event is in its sixth year, and will be held October 25, 2025, at the Dallas College Brookhaven Campus Building C. Join us a 8 AM for an energizing aerobic workout called "Walk This Way with AKA!”. The exhibit hall will be open from 8 AM to 1 PM. Don't miss our health panel discussion on multi-generational health and Fitness Family Feud. Our theme this year is “A Family Reunion!” Let’s get excited about being healthy!
