About this Event
This is a voluntary event focused on preparing for a variety of possible federal changes that we could experience in 2025.
The Basics: Scenario planning is a strategic foresight process that helps organizations consider a variety of possible paths. Together, we'll discuss and analyze alternative federal budget and policy outcomes and their likely impacts on our organization and member organizations, helping prepare for different potential futures.
What To Expect: This will be a highly interactive planning process with both large and small group components. Plan on being engaged in discussion and actively contributing to planning throughout the event. (This time won't be conducive to working on other things in the background and we'll be asking participants to limit their use of screens except as needed for the planning process.)
Who Could Attend: This planning process will be more successful if we have a variety of people participate (different backgrounds, different skill sets etc.). All staff are welcome and the process can accommodate up to 40 participants. Participating in this process doesn't have to be explicitly related to your job/role at the Association, anyone with a willingness to actively contribute can be part of this planning "think tank."
Logistics: This will be an in-person only event and lunch will be provided for participants.
