With an educational background in Nutrition & Food Sciences with minors in Organic & Biological Chemistry and Business Marketing from California State University, Long Beach, Mariz exemplifies a unique integration of academic proficiency and practical experience. Mariz is a passionate advocate for continuous professional development and industry networking, reflecting in her active engagement in various professional organizations, and her weekly series on LinkedIn #WorkforceWednesdays where she shares information similar to what she will be presenting at the meeting. SPEAKER BIO:
Chuck is a Six Sigma Green Belt that brings over 35 years of Safety and Health Management experience in manufacturing of all types, logistics, service, transportation, hospitality, healthcare, steel smelting, power generation (coal, gas, and wind) as well as heavy commercial and residential construction nationwide.
Recent positions include Sr. Safety Management Consultant for a national worker’s compensation carrier, Director of Loss Control for a national insurance brokerage, Site Safety, and Health Director for a $1.5 billion semiconductor facility construction project.
Chuck had the pleasure of assisting three Fortune 50 corporations and a multitude of other well-known companies in developing high performing Safety and Health Programs designed to drive down losses while fostering teamwork, building employee morale and leadership enhancements. His experience servicing a wide range of clients has allowed him to develop strategic approaches that work for each organization
