Hosted by the Plymouth County CISM Team and SEMLEC Team, an event designed to support families and first responders alike. This unique conference brings together industry leading experts’ speakers to address the challenges faced by first responders and their loved ones. With a focus on fostering open communication and strengthening relationships, the event will feature licensed clinicians, psychologists, attorneys and family-focused professionals ready to answer your questions. Whether you are seeking guidance, resources, training or community, this conference provides a safe and empowering space for families and first responders to connect, learn, and grow together. Host: Dr Hayden Duggan

Info: Hayden A. Duggan, Ed.D. is the President and Founder of the On-Site Academy in Gardner, Massachusetts, a residential trauma treatment and training program for Public Safety Personnel. He is the Team Clinician for the Boston Police Stress Support Unit CISM Team and is the Chief Psychologist for the Boston EMS Peer Support Team. He is the Chief Clinician for the Fitchburg Police Department Peer Support Team. He is the author of two books on crisis intervention and empathy. He is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (earning his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and Public Practice from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in 1977) and a Designated Forensic Psychologist (inactive) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is the former statewide co-coordinator, Mass Fire Academy, program in Hazardous Materials Awareness/Personal Protective Equipment Training, Counter-Terrorism Division. He is an Emergency Medical Technician—Intermediate.

Info: Prior to joining Boulder Crest Foundation’s First Responder Initiative as the Director for New England, Robert spent 35 years as a Police Officer in Massachusetts. During his Law Enforcement career Robert was a key participant in the creation of the SEMLEC Peer Support / Critical Incident Stress Management Team. Robert served as the team’s Director / Commander since the team’s inception and led a team of officers who support a consortium of 30 police departments across the region. Robert developed policies, procedures, vetted prospective candidates for team membership, coordinated and implemented team member training and oversaw daily operations. Robert was also responsible for examining and coordinating with external facilities and programs that provide a variety of support services for police officers.

Info: Tom Greenhalgh has been involved in the Public Safety field for 26 years. Currently he is employed as a Police Lt./Paramedic and has previously worked as a Firefighter/Paramedic. He has been involved in Public Safety Diving for over 20 years as a team leader and trainer of a regional volunteer dive rescue team, a Corporate Trainer for Dive Rescue Int’l, a past member of the IADRS Board of Directors, and as an author/technical advisor on educational programs in this field. Tom is the Co-Director for the Greater Lowell CISM Team in Massachusetts, an ICISF approved trainer in multiple disciplines, co-author of the Battlefield to Street: One Uniform to Another program, is an Algorithm Trainer in TFT, and serves as a member of the ATFT-Trauma Relief Committee. Tom is a Peer/Staff member of the On-Site Academy in Gardner, MA.
