OVERVIEW / REGISTRATION
The Annual Fall 50 will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 and runs through the beautiful fall colors and charming villages of Door County, Wisconsin, from Gills Rock to Sturgeon Bay. This is a point-to-point road ultra that offers rolling hills, scenic views, and the potential for a 50-mile PR! An epic after party waits for you at the finish line.
Please note: The Fall 50 also comprises a Relay Division. For more information on that, as well as the Solo, go to our website: www.fall50.com.
START and FINISH TIMES / COURSE CUTOFF
Solo runners have 12 hours to complete the Solo Event. The race will start at 6:30 a.m., and runners must finish by 6:30 p.m. to be considered an official finisher. That means runners must maintain a 14:21 per mile pace for the 50.2 miles.
SHUTTLE
Solo runners have the option of taking a coach bus to the start line for $15. The buses will depart the beach area parking lot at Sunset Park (finish line) promptly at 5:00 a.m. on race morning. The shuttle will make one stop at Stone Harbor Resort for an additional pickup at 5:15 a.m. before continuing on to Gills Rock where the start area is located. The shuttle will arrive to the start line at Gills Rock by 6:00 a.m., well before the 6:30 a.m. start.
SWAG
All runners will receive an event hoodie at packet pickup.
DROP BAGS
Drop bags will be accessible at all Aid Stations.
Mile 5.5 (Exchange 1) is perfect for dropping off your headlamp or unnecessary gear.
Mile 50.2 Finish Line (We recommend having a warm change of clothes here!)
You may drop off your drop bags at Packet Pickup at Stone Harbor Resort on Friday or at the start line on Saturday morning. Plastic bags will be available. Look for the giant red bins.
AID STATIONS
Every station will have a dedicated Solo Runners Only tent with food and fluids. Items will include water, Gatorade, flat Coke, pretzels, oranges, bananas, apples, bagels, chocolate chip cookies, M&M’s, Jolly Ranchers, Clif Bars, and Clif Shot Bloks. In addition, Exchange #5 will offer the “Half Way Buffet” with hot chicken noodle soup (or chicken broth), PB&J sandwiches, and snacks in addition to the items listed above.
HEADLAMP
Sunrise will be at 7:18 a.m. on race day, with civil twilight beginning at 6:48 a.m., so you will be required to have either a headlamp or flashlight for the first 30 minutes of the race. You will be able to drop off your light at mile 5.4 (Exchange 1). We will have a box marked for that purpose. Make sure to have your headlamp/flashlight labeled with your name and bib number before placing it in the box. You will be able to pick up your headlamp/flashlight under the Solo Finisher tent when you are done.
CREW
We do allow participants to have friends and family supporting them along the route. They can cheer you on; hand out food, beverage, or clothing; and take possession of any items you drop or hand off but ONLY IN THE AID STATION AREAS. Aid given outside of the aid stations areas is strictly prohibited.
PACERS
NO PACERS ARE ALLOWED. Friends and family may not run, walk, or bike with you on the course. They may not give you any aid between aid stations.
SOLO FINISHER TENT
A Solo Runner Finisher tent will be located adjacent the finish chute. It will be located immediately after the finish chute. This heated tent will include: hot soup, light snacks, changing room and a nice place to sit and collect yourself after the race before heading in to the main party tent. This will also be a convenient place for your family and friends to locate you immediately after the event.
PARTY TENT
After you are changed and ready to party, head over to the large party tent and join the relay finishers. The party tent will have all-you-can-enjoy pizza, beer, wine, and soda, as well as a DJ, dance floor, team costume and name contests, and more! This is free for each participant. Family and friends may join you under the party tent for a cover charge.
AWARDS
Solo runners will receive their Finisher medal and awards, if earned, under the Solo Finisher's tent.
If you have any other questions about the race you can email [email protected]
