About this Event
The 2025 F-16 Corrosion Technical Interchange Meeting/Corrosion Prevention Advisory Board (CTIM/CPAB) will be held 14-16 January 2025. The event is free and will essentially be two separate events held back to back.
Tuesday, 14 January - Wednesday, 15 January: CTIM
- We invite foreign military partners, USAF, and civilian personnel, as well as contractors and suppliers to attend the first two days of the event.
- The bulk of the briefed material and follow-on discussions will take place during these two days and will be applicable to all who attend.
Thursday, 16 January: Training and CPAB
- Last year we dedicated an entire day to several training briefings. This year we will have some training events in the morning and hold the CPAB in the afternoon. All CTIM attendees are invited to attend the training in the morning.
- The CPAB portion of the event is reserved for enlisted, civilian, and contracted depot USAF personnel as we discuss topics pertinent to USAF-configured aircraft. Only USAF attendees (military and civilian) and Lockheed Martin personnel will be admitted to the CPAB on Thursday afternoon.
The event will be held at the Corporate Employee Recreation Association (CERA) facility in Fort Worth, TX, the same location we've used for the last few years. This facility is not controlled so there is no need for security clearances, access paperwork, etc.
We'll discuss topics such as corrosion repair and prevention, coating maintenance, changes to technical orders, and studies on new products and technologies, as well as hear from USAF field units and foreign military partners on their respective challenges and achievements in these fields. As always, we are planning ample time for networking and discussion and will hold a social event at a restaurant one evening.
We hope to see you there!
