Question 4. What do I need to do
A- free registration from August 2025- we need to know numbers -
A21 encourages everyone to purchase a Walk For Freedom t-shirt during registration. If you don’t wish to purchase a t-shirt, we encourage you to wear a black t-shirt.
Question 5. Why should I talk part in a Walk For Freedom?
Answer Walk For Freedom is our global mobilisation event, rallying tens of thousands of people, taking millions of steps, in hundreds of cities all over the world. We walk to disrupt the existence of slavery, shaking its very foundation with each step. It’s an outward expression of A21’s inward desire to see slavery abolished everywhere—in our cities, in our communities, and in our world.
Question 6 - Can anyone take part?
Answer - Yes. To register yourself you must be 18 years or older. A parent may register children age 13-17. Children under the age of 13 do not need to register but may participate with a registered adult on the day of the walk.
Parking - there are many car parks near Lothian Road.
