We will use contemplative practices that support grounding Divine Presence in and with our bodies and with the Sacred Earth. Through guided meditation, chant, embodied prayer, Centering Prayer, labyrinth walking, lectio divina, nature immersion, and more, we will be rooted in the Divine Presence of Sacred Earth and our own body temples. This will resource us to live in the Sacred Presence of Peace and Trust amidst the challenges and difficult times of life.
Leslie Black and Henri Lock will be the Retreat leaders!
Leslie Black facilitates Heart Awakening transformational coaching and energy healing with groups and individuals. She was a Healing Pathway Instructor for over 20 years. Leslie has continued (over 3 decades) to hold sessions in spiritual growth, transformation, and energetic self-care, both in-person and on-line. Visit her website at https://heartawakening.ca.
Henri Locke is a former Spiritual Care Provider at the University of Victoria Multifaith Centre and former Executive Director of The Contemplative Society, https://www.contemplative.org/. Henri is a long-time teacher of Centering Prayer and Mindfulness Meditation in the Christian Wisdom tradition, and a minister with the United Church of Canada.
