Community organizations across Winston-Salem will come together once again to present the 37th Annual Citywide Kwanzaa Celebration. This weeklong cultural event celebrates African American heritage, unity, purpose, and shared responsibility. Activities will take place from December 26 to January 1 at various locations across the city, each focusing on one of the seven principles of Kwanzaa—the Nguzo Saba.This year’s schedule includes educational workshops, storytelling, music, cultural demonstrations, hands-on activities, guest speakers, community events, awards, and intergenerational experiences rooted in African traditions and values.
