Bring the Heat and sign up to compete in the City Fest Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, October 18 at La Verde Park, 3901 Burnham.This friendly competition will take place during City Fest, an event for the whole family that include live music, food and drink vendors (including a beer vendor), college football on the big screen, a kid zone with mini golf and carnival game inflatables, touch a truck, a pumpkin patch, photo opportunities, and FIREWORKS!!
If your chili has what it takes to make the judges sweat, get your application in today for a chance at a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place prize as well as a People's Choice Award.
Registration and a fee of $50 per team is required. A maximum of 10 teams will be allowed to compete. Registration closes October 13th at 12pm. Register at kylerec.recdesk.com.
2025 City Fest Chili Cook-Off Schedule:
12:00 p.m.- Chili Cook-Off competitors arrive
1:00 p.m. - Chili Cook-Off cooking begins
4 p.m. - City Fest event begins
5:45 p.m. - Chili Cook-Off judges arrive
6-6:30 p.m. - Chili submission to judges
4-5:30 p.m. - Chili Cook-Off Peoples Choice judging
6:50 p.m. - Winners announced
8 p.m. - City Fest event ends
