SCOTTSVILLE, KY -- From candlelit carols to glowing LED trees -- even a peek into Christmas in space -- this year's Scottsville Christmas Parade will capture the heart of the season across time.The theme, "An American Christmas - Past, Present, and Future," invites the community to reflect on the traditions that shaped us, the celebrations we enjoy today, and the dreams we hold for tomorrow.
The parade will take place on December 6 at 5PM, beginning at the Dollar General Distribution Center and traveling through downtown Scottsville. Local businesses, churches, schools, and organizations are invited to create floats that showcase one of the three eras -- or combine them for a storytelling effect.
REGISTRATION is open now for parade floats, walking groups, and performers. Entry forms are available at scottsvilleky.info or by contacting the Chamber.
