14th Carrabassett Backcountry Cycle Challenge
Online registration will open on February 1, 2025 at 7:00 AM EST
We hope you can join us at the 14th Carrabassett Backcountry Cycle Challenge, hosted by the Town of Carrabassett Valley, on July 12, 2025. The CBCC is a mountain bike endurance event offering 100k, 50k, and 25k courses, which cover a great mix of terrain in Carrabassett Valley and the surrounding area. The 100k race will be part of the National Ultra Endurance Mountain Bike Race Series again this year. A kid's race, hosted by the Western Maine Center for Children, for riders ages 12 and under will also be offered.
Online registration will open on February 1, 2025 at 7:00 AM EST on bikereg.com - plan to sign up early to secure your spot as the 2025 CBCC will be capped at 500 total racers.
Participation in this race will support Carrabassett Region NEMBA trail maintenance and development, youth bike camps, and the Town of Carrabassett Valley mountain bike race fund for future events. This race is completely run by volunteers and is the largest yearly fundraiser for the local trail network!
