Join us for the Big Bend area's finest and most casual charity gala - Canteens & Camo. The Capital Area American Red Cross' signature event (aka C&C) has become one of Tallahassee's most anticipated philanthropic events.We anticipate nearly 400 guests to join us from across the Capital Area, for a fun-filled evening of dancing, great food, and bidding for extraordinary auction offerings as we celebrate and support the lifesaving work of the Red Cross in our community. In honor of the Red Cross' origin and 140+ year history of supporting military service members, we invite you to come dressed to represent a military branch or in your best vintage Red Cross attire (or whatever you want!)
As a part of the world's largest humanitarian network, all proceeds benefit Capital Area Red Cross community programs, which support people experiencing some of life's biggest emergencies: home fires and the repetitive disasters our area has seen, like the May tornadoes, Hurricanes Debby, Helene, and Milton; critical needs for blood; crises while serving in the military; and other emergency situations across the country and around the world. Our work is only possible through the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors!
