The Canadian Chapter of the Specialty Coffee Association is extremely excited to resume organizing coffee competitions as sanctioned by World Coffee Events.
This year, the National Brewers Cup will be hosted by Saint-Henri at Origine 117 in Montreal, Quebec. The winner will proceed to represent Canada at the World Brewers Cup Championship, May 15-17, 2025 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Please see the most recent for more information.
This year, we will have time slots at the Brew Bar dedicated to highlighting and serving competitors' coffees. Please do your best to provide at least 1 pound of your coffee for this purpose.
We would also like to draw particular attention to the following rule about electrical equipment:
"Competitors may bring up to 2 pieces of additional electrical equipment to be used during the coffee preparation and/or presentation. Competitors must notiy the WCE event manager prior to arriving at the event of any additional electrical equipment they are bringing. Total power requirements for the additional electrical equipment must be accommodated by a single-phase circuit which will be shared with the grinder(s)."
To be eligible to compete in Brewers Cup, the competitor must have lived for full 24 months in Canada by the date of WBC 2025. World Coffee Events holds the final decision pertaining to the eligibility of a Champion. Please read the Rules and Regulations carefully for WBC to ensure that for any other reasons, you may not be eligible to compete at Worlds.
There will be limit of 2 competitors per same company. The reservation of a spot to compete by purchasing this ticket is final. We cannot accommodate refunds if you decide to change your mind and/or your circumstances change.
When purchasing the ticket(s) please use a valid email address we can use to send you your ticket and all further communication regarding the upcoming event. You may purchase a ticket for someone else; however, you must be able to fill out the form with accurate details for the person you are registering.
If registration is full, please join the waitlist! Cancellations are a very real possibility!
Please note that if you are on the waitlist, and you receive an email from us offering you a spot, you have 48 hours to accept before we move on to the next person on the waitlist. You will be billed directly by SCA Canada for the registration fee if and when you accept the spot.
