CANIC 2025 is Canada's premier intelligence professional development event of the year, of interest to intelligence professionals, academics and industry representatives.
The CANIC 2025 theme is THE CANADIAN INTELLIGENCE ENTERPRISE: ON THE ROAD TO 2030. Panels will explore how five selected core intelligence functions (geospatial intelligence, industry integration, intelligence analysis, open-source intelligence, and space intelligence) might evolve to bring more synergy across the entire federal intelligence enterprise.
CANIC 2025 features a roster of keynote speakers and panelists from the senior ranks of government and the Canadian Armed Forces, and from Canada's closest intelligence partners.
CANIC 2025 contributes to Canadian intelligence studies by offering forward-looking discussion and debate about changes impacting the defence intelligence function, within the overall Canadian Intelligence Enterprise (CIE). Development of the future intelligence workforce and the effective exploitation of emerging technologies represent challenges that must be recognized and studied now.
CANIC 2025 explores what the CIE might look like in 2030. The interim agenda is shown below. It will be updated as speakers, moderators, and panelists are confirmed.
