Every activity at the Math Playground was imagined, built, and brought to life by Math Literacy Workers (MLWs)—dedicated students from local schools trained by YPP. They’ve spent the year learning, planning, and leading—and now it’s their moment to shine.
🙌 Come support their work, celebrate their leadership and experience math in a whole new way—you’ll see it move, run, and come alive like never before!
💥 Here’s What’s Happening:
🕙 10 AM – 12 PM | Math Playground
Step into four exciting lands—Number Discovery, Flagway, Algebra, and Fractions/Ratio—and explore math like never before!
Designed by Math Literacy Workers (MLWs), these youth-led games use real-world examples and teamwork to make math concepts fun and easy to understand.
🍽️ 12 – 1 PM | Free Lunch for All Ages
Fuel up with lunch—on us!
🏃♂️ 1 – 3 PM | Flagway® Tournament
Cheer on middle school players coached by high school MLWs in a high-energy, team-based math competition. Flagway® combines running, scoring, teamwork, and math mastery—it’s where sports meet math confidence with numbers!
