About this Event
Fraud isn’t a matter of if—it’s a matter of when.
Welcome to Fraud Happens: 2025 Business Fraud Survival Camp—an interactive, engaging, and completely different approach to fraud prevention. This isn’t your typical lecture or binder-on-the-shelf seminar. It’s a hands-on survival experience where you’ll work through real-world fraud cases, sharpen your instincts, and leave prepared to fight back.
Why We’re Doing This
At Hometown Bank, we know fraud isn’t a problem that stops at the bank doors—it impacts every business in our community. Traditional fraud education doesn’t resonate, and most businesses don’t have time to create their own training.
So we did the work for you—building an engaging, interactive program that makes fraud education enjoyable, memorable, and impactful. And because we’re committed to our community, we’re offering this event FREE to local businesses. Fraud is a real-life survival challenge. The threats are everywhere—from phishing emails and fake invoices to payroll scams and ransomware attacks. Criminals are constantly adapting, waiting for just one slip-up. The question is: when the pressure is on, will your business be prepared to survive?
