Founded in 1991 The 35th annual Rice Lake Poker run has been a club favorite for many years.
Some of the most exotic offshore power boats return to Rice Lake this Saturday September 14th.
2025 Bruce Nicolle Memorial Charity 35th annual Rice Lake Poker Run starts and finishes at Golden Beach Resort.
The boats will make stops at checkpoints at Bewdley, Elmhirst's Resort, lunch stop in Hastings, Gores Landing and Willow Bend Marina on the Otonabee River.
The Performance Boat Cub of Canada has been a proud supporter of Make a Wish Canada for more than 33 years. Since 2008 PBCE has raised over $297,000 for the cause.
Currently, Make-A-Wish has 4-thousand critically ill children waiting for their wishes to be granted.

Friday – September 19th
Arrival & Captain’s Reception -
4:00 – 7:00 PM – Arrival/check in at Golden Beach Resort, Roseneath, ON
7:00 PM – Appetizers, cocktail hour, Member social potluck BBQ, bring your favorite dish!
Agenda - Saturday Sept 20th
8:00 - 9:30 am - Driver Arrival/Check In, breakfast is available for purchase at Golden Beach Resort, launching of boats.
10:00 am - Mandatory roll call, Drivers meeting and Safety Brief at Golden Beach Resort
10:45 am - Depart Golden Beach Resort, stage for start under pace boat for Checkpoint #1 Bewdley town docks
11:15 am - Depart Bewdley, stage for parade of power under pace boat single file then onward Checkpoint #2 Elmhurst Lodge.
11:40 am - Depart Elmhurst Lodge, stage for passage to Checkpoint #3 Lunch Stop in Hastings
12:00 pm - Arrive in Hastings for lunch stop
1:30 pm - Depart Hastings for Checkpoint #4 Gores landing and stage for passage up river to Willow bend
2:00 pm - Depart Gores landing staging single file behind pace boat for entrance into the Otonabee River for passage to Checkpoint #5 Willow Bend Marina
3:00 pm - Depart Willow Bend for return passage back down the Otonabee river to Golden Beach Resort
3:45 pm - Arrive at Golden Beach Resort. Run is officially concluded, meet and greet the public, load boats.
7:00 pm – Auction and awards dinner at Golden Beach Resort.
Distance of Run is approximately 109 miles.
Please be sure to start with a full tank of fuel. (Fuel available at Gores Landing.)
Event Fees $675 per boat includes: Driver, Navigator, event shirts, Friday Night reception and potluck bbq, lunch, and Banquet/Awards dinner Saturday September 20th 2025.
Additional crew: $200 per person
Proof of insurance with $2 million Liability coverage is required.
