About this Event
The Florida Master Gardener Volunteer Program relies on trained and dedicated volunteers interested in gardening and giving back to their communities. Master Gardeners have the opportunity to host plant clinics at their local libraries, tend to the Brevard Discovery Garden, perform site visits to help their fellow community members, and more. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, consider signing up for our next Master Gardener class!
We have plenty of volunteer opportunities for those who enjoy getting their hands dirty! We also have clinics available on the weekends and at night for those who need flexible scheduling.
The registration fee is $250; which covers the cost of all class materials, training, and background checks. You will not be charged until after you are accepted into the program. After you sign up through Eventbrite, we will send you an application via email.
This training will be held on eleven Wednesdays, from 9 am to 3 pm. The classes will be held on the following Wednesdays: January 8, January 15, January 22, January 29, February 5, February 12, February 19, February 26, March 5, March 12, and March 19, 2025. To graduate, you must attend at least nine of the eleven classes. New Master Gardeners are required to fulfill 75 volunteer hours the year they attend the class. Every year after, only 35 hours are required to remain an active Master Gardener.
