About this Event
Join us at Center City Park @ Greensboro Downtown Parks, Inc. as we honor Black Maternal Health Week with an interactive health fair promoting access to maternal health resources, education, and an extended village of support. Activities include a one-mile walk, a communal activity exploring why we walk for Black maternal health, and alternative body movements for all family members.
Interactive Health Fair activities include:
- Live DJ
- Raffles
- Dancing for Birth class
- Photo opportunity
- Storytelling recordings
Do I need to Register?
Registration is not required but helps with planning. T-shirts will be available for the first 300 individuals who register.
Can I walk with a team or group?
Yes! We welcome groups and encourage you to wear team-identifying clothes or accessories to enhance the experience. Matching t-shirts, feather boas, or fancy hats, the possibilities are endless.
Vendor Registration

Parking
The City of Greensboro shared: "Beginning Monday, February 24, North Davie Street will be closed from East Friendly Avenue to Abe Brenner Place from 9 am to 4 pm until Friday, March 28, due to sidewalk streetscape work along North Davie Street. Motorists should expect delays around the work area and use alternate routes." See the city news from February 21, 2025 - North Davie Street Closure Begins February 24.
- Deck parking is free from 3 am to 9 pm on weekends.
