Bags of Hope, a frontline initiative of the Veterans Care Trust Fund, is proud to launch its 2025 drive in partnership with Viking Bags, a leading manufacturer of premium motorcycle gear. Together, we’re delivering more than supplies—we’re delivering hope.Founded in 2021, Bags of Hope began with Ziploc-filled kits assembled by hand and distributed with care. Today, it’s a national movement providing age-appropriate backpacks and supply kits tailored to the real, urgent needs of:
• 🧍♂️ Male and female homeless veterans
• 🧒 Children navigating trauma and transition
• 🚓 First responders and K9 units serving on the front lines
• 🏡 Families in underserved and rural communities
Each bag is packed with shelter essentials, hygiene items, comfort tools, and messages of encouragement—designed to meet people where they are, physically and emotionally.
🎒 Mobility Meets Meaning
These backpacks will be distributed through Bags of Hope’s trusted frontline partners—first responders, community advocates, and service organizations—who meet veterans and families at critical moments.

✍️ Write Cards of Hope
Stop by during prep week to write affirmation cards and messages of encouragement to include in each bag.

• Sorting Day: Friday, November 14, 3 PM – 7 PM
• Packing Day: Saturday, November 15, 9 AM – 4 PM

🚚 Help Us Deliver Across Seven Counties
The week of November 17, our delivery teams will head out to distribute backpacks and supply kits across seven counties in Wisconsin. Volunteers may help with:
• Coordinating drop-offs with frontline partners
• Delivering bags to shelters, schools, and service hubs
• Sharing messages of encouragement and connection
