Join us in celebrating spring, the most exciting and difficult time of the year. In the next few months, we will receive 1,500 baby animals. Baby birds need to be fed every half hour from sunrise to sunset. Others, like raccoons and squirrels, must be bottle-fed for eight to ten weeks. It is a daunting task. Helping the babies grow into self-sufficient adults and releasing them is extremely rewarding. But we can’t do it without your help.
Come meet the animal ambassadors. Our docents will bring out hawks, owls, crows, and squirrels for you to see up close and personal.
Baby animal feeding can be viewed through the window of our display building. A live feed into the baby bird room will show the babies being fed and our baby bird facilities.
BBQ tri-tip sandwiches and ice cream sundaes are available all day long. We also have a raffle, silent auction, tee shirts, photos, and other items for sale.
