Since 2011, the Timbers have celebrated the soccer history, community and culture in the Rose City with special, professional portraits of supporters holding axes every five seasons (2011, 2015, 2020).We are excited to announce that that club is holding Axe Portraits once again in 2025 in celebration of the club’s 50th anniversary in Portland. The free photo shoots will take place in January 2025, at Providence Park.
Here is how it works:
When:
Saturday, Jan. 4 and Sunday, Jan. 5 – open exclusively to Annual Members; time slots reserved.
Saturday, Jan. 11 and Sunday, Jan. 12 – open to the public from 10am to 6pm PT
Please enter through Gate D located at the northeast corner of the stadium on SW 18th Ave. For the weekend open to the public, attendees will be photographed on a first-come, first-served basis, starting at 10 a.m.
Do I need to bring anything?
No. We will provide the axes. You are welcome to bring your own DIY items as long as they are safe, appropriate and adhere to our stadium policies on apparel, flags or signs. Personal chainsaws are not allowed; we’ll have a prop chainsaw available. Weapons are not allowed.
When and how will I receive my photo?
New in 2025, fans will be able to download photos shortly after their photoshoot. Details to follow.
Can I make an appointment?
In 2025, only Annual Members have the ability to reserve a time slot as an exclusive benefit during Annual Members Weekend Jan. 4-5. For the General Public Weekend on Jan. 11-12, everyone will be photographed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Can I take more than one photo?
Due to the expected high turnout, and to ensure we can take everyone’s photo, you will be limited to one photo.
How many people can be photographed at one time?
Given the limited space near the backdrop, we advise no more than four people per photo.
Can I bring my pet(s)?
Pets aren't allowed into Providence Park so please leave your furry friends at home. For special accommodations, please contact [email protected].
