November is Arts Month in Flower Mound! Celebrate by attending the 11th annual Flower Mound Public Library Art Party on Friday, Nov. 7 from 5 to 7 p.m.This festive, after-hours event will feature art by LISD students, live performances by local elementary school choirs, and professional art demonstrations -- including shibori, the traditional Japanese art of dyeing cloth.
Kids and families can enjoy face painting, glitter tattoos, and hands-on activities like button making and Artist Trading Cards (ATCs). Donβt forget to tour the Libraryβs Creation Lab and take part in a special community art project!
No registration required -- just drop in and get creative!

At this year's event, Flower Mound homeschool students in grades K-12 are invited to submit their art to be showcased. Homeschool students can submit their art beginning on Monday, Oct. 20 at 9 a.m. To submit work from a homeschool student, please bring a completed submission form (https://tinyurl.com/56zst8mm) and their artwork to the Flower Mound Public Library, before the submission window closes on Monday, Nov. 3 at 5 p.m.
