A celebration of Washington State's Arbor Day and a look at how nature, trees, and our forests are connected to rain, rivers, and more! This year, we're celebrating Washington State's Arbor Day with our 24th annual ArborFest, embracing the theme "River of Life." This vibrant event highlights the essential connection between our plants, trees, crops, animals, and the water that sustains them. Together, we'll explore how vital water is to support the growth, health, and beauty of our world.
Join us in celebrating the beauty of nature and the vital role trees play in our lives. Let's come together to make ArborFest 2025 a thriving success!
Families can expect lots of free learning opportunities, crafts, and displays showcasing the effects of forest fires. Plus, families will have an opportunity to take home their own tree to plant in their yard in honor of Arbor Day.
Please be kind to the earth by bringing your own reusable bag to carry home all of your crafts, handouts, and other items you will collect at the festival.
Stations sponsored by a variety of community organizations, will be on hand to share in the experience of this year's theme. The Arbor Festival strives to make environmental science fun for everyone to learn!
