2025 Convention Registration is open, and we have an AMAZING opportunity! We will be THE FIRST PASSENGERS to ride on the FEC K Branch behind US Sugar’s restored 148 Steam Locomotive.Thursday, September 11, we’ll be setting up the layout at noon. Official registration begins at 6:00 pm, at which time members can set up their display tables.
Friday, September 12, we will start by touring inside FEC’s New Smyrna Beach yard and maintenance facility, and then we’ll continue to the Port Orange Depot to check the progress of the depot restoration as well as visiting “Lucy” and “Willie,” the caboose and boxcar recently moved onto the site for restoration. Friday evening will be our first banquet dinner and speaker (to be announced).
Saturday, September 13, we will have an amazing rare-mileage excursion departing from FEC’s Fort Pierce Yard. We’ll spend the next several hours aboard US Sugar’s 148 steam consist for our own private charter to Clewiston. We’ll have lunch and snacks aboard the train, and there will be several special photo run-by opportunities during the ride.
Saturday evening will be our second banquet dinner, with Mr. Scott Ogle (Railroad Superintendent, SCFE - USSC - Sugar Express and Mr. Bob Lawson (General Manager of Railroad Operations) as our speakers. These are the people responsible for everything railroad-related for US Sugar—we’re sure to get some great information! The evening will end with our award presentations and the always-popular door prize giveaways.
Your registration includes all of the tours, our chartered bus transportation, and 4 meals—lunch and dinner both Friday and Saturday. Plus, we’ll have members’ photos, memorabilia, and models for the Viewer’s Choice contest voting. Bring your best to enter the contest!

Full Registration: $525
Additional Family Member: $145 for an additional family member who will be attending but not going on any off-site tours. This includes convention registration, welcome packet, and both Friday and Saturday evening banquets.
