About this Event
Hosted by the Colorado Ag Water Alliance and the Colorado Water Center at Colorado State University, this event will bring together members of the agircultural, water resources, and unverity communities to discuss issues impacting water in agriculture.
A large focus of this event is on research and creating successful projects iwth research partners. With the many obstacles facing the agricultural community, and less financial resources at the federal level, it is more important than ever to build relationships that serve the needs of agriucltural producers, and help us identify new strategies and technologies to manage a future with less water.

Research Roundtables - Have researchers from various instituations discuss thieir work from table to table in a "speed- dating" format.
Getting Involved in Water Policy - How can students and new people in the indsutry get involved in water issues and agriculture?
How to Talk to a Farmer? - For students, professionals, and researchers. How to engage and better understand people from the agricultural community.
The Compacts - What is happening on the ground in some of Colorado's River Compacts? What is being done on a daily basis to make sure we are complying with these agreements?
Ag Drought Resilience Projects - For three years, the Colorado Ag Water Alliance has been working with farmers and ranchers throughout the state to identify methods and technologies to help manage water during drought. What have we been learning and where are we going next?
