About this Event
LSE alumni and friends will come together for a morning of volunteering at beloved New York City oasis, Brooklyn Bridge Park. We'll roll up our sleeves and contribute to the park's ongoing beautification and preservation efforts.
After our volunteer session, we'll enjoy an informal meetup inside the park, a perfect opportunity to relax, connect with fellow LSE alumni, and soak in the stunning views.
Whether you're a seasoned green thumb or simply looking to connect with fellow LSE alumni, this event offers a unique opportunity to give back to the community while enjoying stunning views of the Manhattan skyline.
- Date: Saturday April 12th
- Time: 10am-12pm (volunteering), 12 pm - ?? (informal social)
- Location: Brooklyn Bridge Park, Exact meet-up location to be shared with confirmed attendees.
- Activities: We will join the "Green Team" to support essential horticultural care in Brooklyn Bridge Park, completing tasks such as weeding, planting and mulching. This is a great opportunity to learn about gardening, enjoy nature, and make a tangible difference in the Park with a group of other volunteers.
