About this Event

The AFCEA Fort Belvoir Chapter is pleased to announce it’s upcoming 4th annual Hackathon Challenge for 2025 with the Fort Belvoir Elementary School. This event will be hosted on 11 April 2025 and will consist of a series of micro:Bit device coding challenges which 4th grade students will solve to "help" the Belvoir AFCEA Space Alliance (BASA) complete technical challenges and accomplish their mission on Planet X. The theme of this year’s challenge is “Engineer the Planet”. Industry sponsorships are available at $250, $500, $1000, and $2000 to support the event with remaining funds being donated back to the school for Computer Lab improvements.
