50+ California-based artists were selected by jurors Melissa Kreisa & Rose Sellery, M. K. Contemporary Art Gallery, Santa Cruz, for the 2025 50|50 Show. Beginning in June, each artist has been immersed in creating 50 small (6" x 6") works over 50 days. See below for the full list of participating artists!
Sanchez Art Center is delighted to bring you their works that can be viewed in person and in their entirety during our opening fundraising event.
This annual fundraiser — that supports Sanchez Art Center 's exhibition and community engagement programs — takes place at timed intervals Fri, Sept. 5 to Sat, Sept. 6. Extending the opening over two days and two times each day, provides flexibility for your schedule to take in all 50+ installations in their entirity.
Attending the opening fundraiser is the only way to see ALL +2,650 works on the gallery walls! PLUS, you’ll be able to engage with many of the artists in the show over a leisurely 1 hr and 45 minute period, while you view the art and purchase these small treasures. (Total capacity during the opening ticketed events will not exceed 145 people throughout the three galleries including art lovers, artists, volunteers/staff.)
There will be LIVE music during all timed entry periods, beverages for a donation, and lite snacks for you to enjoy while in the galleries and making your purchases.
All purchases made during the opening fundraiser will REMAIN ON THE WALLS for the duration of the the fundraising event (Fri, Sept 5 & Sat, Sept 6). Pick up or shipping of works will take place the week following the opening.
Note: As this event is a fundraiser for Sanchez Art Center and our exhibitions and community engagement programs, no refunds will be offered.
