About this Event
Connect, reconnect, and get inspired for the new school year!
Learn how Macculloch Hall Historical Museum's (MHHM) summer education team, led by Curator of Education and Community Engagement Karina Filipowski, cultivated opportunities for children and youth to experience and engage with the outdoor environment in a 2-acre historic garden.
Meet MHHM’s Summer teaching artist, Kim Parker, and see how the garden and the work of Wolf Kahn (1927-2020) provided inspiration for personal landscape paintings.
Enjoy a morning of reflection and rejuvenation while creating art and participating in conversations with educators from around the state sharing how the practices of Reggio Emilia are brought into classrooms. Light refreshments will be available.
