逾400名來自 #音樂事務處轄下合唱團及中西樂團的年輕樂手將各施所長，以來自古今中外、風格融匯的中西美樂，展現香港作為「中外文化藝術交流中心」的多元魅力。年度最傑出的學員及樂團團員將獲頒獎項。
精選節目包括鼓舞人心的合唱歌曲《以歌相迎》和《我們就是歌聲》；「小慢板」，選自馬勒《第五交響曲》的弦樂傑作；「迎來春色換人間」，選自氣勢磅礴的中樂作品--現代京劇《智取威虎山》；俄國音樂巨匠拉赫曼尼諾夫《E小調第二交響曲》中的慢板；以及東瀛管樂佳作《八首民謠的進行曲（五月某天發生的事）》和《三日月之舞》。

More than 400 young musicians from the acclaimed symphonic band, choirs and orchestras of the Music Office (MO) will showcase their talents and demonstrate the multifaceted charisma of Hong Kong as the “East-meets-West Centre for International Cultural Exchange” with a repertoire embracing a cultural diversity across time; the most outstanding MO trainees and music group members of the year will also be awarded.
Programme highlights include invigorating choral works ENTER WITH SONG and WE ARE THE VOICES; the enchanting “Adagietto” from Mahler’s SYMPHONY NO. 5; the vigoruous “The World Takes on a New Look for Spring” from Peking Opera TAKING TIGER MOUNTAIN BY STRATAGEM; “Adagio”, from the Russian maestro Rachmaninoff’s SYMPHONY NO. 2 IN E MINOR; and Japanese symphonic band delights March on MARCH ON EIGHT FOLK TUNES (IT HAPPENED ONE DAY IN MAY) and CRESCENT MOON DANCE.
