An amazing event if you love all things witchy and paddle boarding! 100's of witches and warlocks come dressed in costume to take to the waters of Chatfield on their paddle boards! This is an amazing event for participants and spectators alike! This year will be even more magical with a food truck and witchy vendors!
Registration required to paddle - Spectators are free (with a state park pass).
Checkin will open at 7am and we will launch at 9am.
In just a few short years, the Witch Paddle has grown from a small gathering of passionate paddle boarders to a must-attend event at Chatfield State Park. Last year, we had over 400 enthusiastic participants and spectators. The event offers a unique blend of fun, adventure, and community spirit, attracting people of all ages who share a love for the outdoors and a bit of magic.
Timeline for the day:
7am - Registration opens for participants
7-8:45am - Participants and spectators get set up and settled
8:50am - Anna Marie takes to the water to launch all event participants
9am - 400 costumed paddle boarders take "flight"
9-1pm - depending on weather conditions paddlers are enjoying time on the water while spectators can peruse vendors and grab some food
