The start of 2024 has continued to bring with it changes in employment and labor laws affecting employers. Some updates have been in the works for a while and may come as no surprise, and others have come up rather suddenly. Both deserve attention, so you are prepared for the second half of 2024.
Join SCHRA for our 2024 Employment Law Updates in-person event with attorney, Ben Eckhart, Archbright/Workplace Law Group PC, who will review employment and labor law updates in 2024 at the federal level and those relevant to employers as well as state law updates relevant to Washington employers. - A summary of recent SCOTUS decisions that impact employment law.
- Compliance guidance regarding discrimination and harassment, including the EEOC’s 2024 priorities.
- Updates on restrictive covenants – non-competes and non-solicitation.
- Compliance guidance on suggested handbook updates
- Summary of any upcoming employment law legislation
The session will be eligible for one (1) SHRM credit.
