Let’s see how well Gambler 500 cars handle snow! This’ll be a snow run through Yacolt Burn State Forest, Gifford Pinchot National Forest and the foothills of Mt. Adams! This will also be the second attempt for this run overall! Bring your snow clothes, your winter camping gear, your recovery gear and your snow chains because it’s gonna be a cold one! We’ll be meeting up at Grove Field the morning of the run, parking there opens at 5am. A discovery pass is required for entry to the event and a northwest forest pass isn’t required but recommended. Pass checks followed by drivers meeting and sticker sales will be at 8pm. Entry is free, stickers will be $5.
For the drive itself everyone regardless of rig capability will do the same route which will be posted to the discussion. This way if someone gets stuck no one will get left behind. The very front and back is reserved for build 4x4s. Once we get to the end camp we can party. Just make sure to bring firewood because everything out there will be too wet.
