About this Event
The Equal Opportunity Day Celebration (EOD) is Urban League of Greater Hartford’s signature fundraising event to support programs and operations in the areas of youth development, adult education, workforce development, housing, health equity and social justice.
Urban League programs and services impact more than 3,000 individuals and their families annually. The EOD also serves as a platform to celebrate local leaders who demonstrate a commitment to equal opportunity and exhibit leadership in empowerment and advocacy.
From the signature souvenir program journal, to event signage, to social, radio and print media, your investment in our work will reach community stakeholders throughout the region.
Glendowlyn Thames, Head of Economic Development for Connecticut, New York and Maryland, will serve as Honorary Chair, and ESPN Anchor Jay Harris, returns as emcee.
