About this Event
This year’s UVIC will host a dinner event at the Forum Hotel at Darden with keynote speaker Kate Moore (Col '99), Head of Thematic Strategy for BlackRock's Global Allocation Team. An expert at identifying opportunities to exploit structural change, policy evolution, and dislocations across global industries, Ms. Moore will share her research-driven insights into where the macro economy and financial markets might be heading. Her ideas for formulating investment approaches will undoubtedly prove timely as investors continue to face headwinds from higher rates for longer than expected, sticky inflation, slowing economic growth, and continued uncertainty abroad. UVIC will be held in partnership with the student-run Darden at Virginia Investment Competition (DVIC). All attendees are invited to join at 4pm for the competition's final round pitches followed by a networking reception.
