Over 120 dogs and their handlers gather for the Texas State Finals to compete for individual championships in one of five classes ranging in skill level from Novice to Open, the most advanced level. The Dog of the Year for each class will also be announced.This year the Finals will be held at the Swindall Ranch in Gatesville, Texas.
*New for 2024* Non-members and Open & Nursery dogs without 5 Qualifying Runs (collectively “Non-Qualifiers”) will be allowed to compete in the State Finals in the Open and Nursery classes, but will not be eligible to become the TSDA State champion in either class. In addition, Open Class Non-Qualifiers will not be eligible to compete in the double lift final. See TSDA Rules for more details.
