We will use the same format as last year, with eight baskets in play. We will throw at each basket: two throws when we rotate counterclockwise and two more throws when we travel the course clockwise. Each contestant will have 32 opportunities to get their "Ace." Also, we will keep the tee markers in a position relatively close to last year.This year, most tees will be marked 80 to 100 feet from the baskets.
We will have one youth (ages 15 and under)/female and one adult division. But, all contestants will be throwing from the same tees.
After the Ace Race awards ceremony, we will again hold an optional 12-hole one-disc challenge. Competitors who want to stay and compete can only play the short course with one disc. Drive, upshot, and putt—all with the same disc!!
There will be no additional fee for this event, and Mile Lane Disc Golf will add a nice prize for the top two finishers in this one-disc challenge.
