Celebrating its 33rd year, the Texas Volunteer Management Conference is the leading educational event for current and emerging volunteer management professionals throughout Texas and the U.S. Throughout its history, the conference has provided an opportunity to learn from top-level speakers, trainers, and leaders who are outstanding in their fields. The conference is made possible through partnerships with the Dallas Association of Directors of Volunteers (DADV), the Directors of Volunteers in Agencies (DOVIA) of Tarrant County, and VolunteerNow.
The 2024 Texas Volunteer Management Conference theme is “Brave New World: Leaning into Challenges.” New unforeseen challenges continue to arise as we adjust and reengage volunteers in our programs. Our profession is changing and requires us to move forward with adaptability and ingenuity. Through this conference, we hope to lead volunteer engagement professionals into a world where challenges are reframed into possibilities by leaning into them with courage.
This year’s conference will be hybrid and open to leaders of volunteers who work for nonprofit organizations or publicly funded agencies throughout the U.S. and around the world. The conference also welcomes anyone in the private sector responsible for engaging volunteers including program managers, executive directors, development and communications team members as well as staff in community relations and corporate social responsibility.
Attendees are those who are seeking inspiration and knowledge to increase their capacity, build stronger relationships with volunteer partners, and rise to the challenge of ushering in "Uniting Changemakers for Dynamic Impact" in volunteer engagement!
