The 2024 S+SNZ Annual Conference will be held in the Hawkes Bay at the Napier War Memorial Centre from 28-30 August 2024. The choice of Napier as this years conference venue couldn’t be more timely given that the city was ground zero for the devastation of Cyclone Gabrielle, last year. As such, ‘Looking Ahead in the Heartland’ refers, not just to the optimism and resilience of provincial New Zealand, but also an opportunity to discuss approaches to the challenges of climate change and disaster recovery around the country.
The Call for Papers is open until the 8th March.
