Does your child have a creative mind? Do they thrive in a lemonade stand? Love making money? Already a budding entrepreneur? This is their chance to get crafty and start a business of their own.The Maker Minds Harvest Market is an opportunity for local children, ages 5-15 years old, to sell their crafts, food, services and handmade items to the community. This Market is for kids, run by kids and is a great way to be a part of this great community.
The 2024 Maker Minds Summer Market is Saturday, July 13th from 12:00 -4:00p.m. at the Meridian Ranch Recreation Center. Booths will display items the children made!
Who can sign up? Children ages 5-15 years old are invited to create a booth and start a mini-business. Individuals or team partners can sell their products and services. All business “partners” must split the costs and profit, and equally contribute to the creation of the product.
What should you sell? Something you enjoy making AND something people in the community will be interested in buying. It needs to be something YOU can make on your own, with minimal adult help. If your family has a business, using the tools is ok, but making the same product is not unless you do the labor. This is your moment to shine and use your creativity.
How do I register and pay? Complete the google form to register. Fees are paid with venmo. More information can be found on the google registration form.
